Adventure at its best

Yachting in Guyana is a safe haven for cruisers way afar.
Guyana’s Essequibo River is the largest between Brazil Amazon and Venezuela‘s Oronoco Rivers. Its expansive waters provide a truly magnificent cruising destination and Guyana, location outside of the hurricane belt, is proven to be a save haven for the Caribbean cruisers to hang out during and after the hurricane season.

The waters surrounding the small mining town of Bartica provide some of the most exciting, virtually untouched, and beautiful river anchorages anywhere in the world.
The Town of Bartica is now an official Port- Of- Entry and cruisers making the Essequibo River their destination can sail the 30miles up river from the ocean to Bartica to clear customs and immigration with a simplified 2 –page form. Clearance takes less than an hour.

Note: The best time this year 2013 to visit Bartica is for Guyana's Yacht Show on August 3rd and the Annual River Regatta schedule for the August 4th. We at Falls View Tours hereby invite you to be a part of this annual event. The Doyle Guide to the Esequibo River provides full planning and cruising details from the Carribbean and up river to the anchorages off and around Bartica, Baganara Island Resort, Hurakabra River Resort.
